Since I Was A Kid All I Could Think About Was Art. Drawing Always Seemed To Be That One Thing That I Loved And It Kept Me Motivated. Every Day I Would Sit And Draw For Hours In Retrospect That Led To My Decision To Start Tattooing.

When I Was 15 I Came Up With The Idea That I Wanted To Get My First Tattoo. I Will Never Forget It, I Told My Parents I Wanted A Tattoo And Got A Response I Didn’t Expect. My Mother Told Me She Would Kick Me Out Of The House And My Father Didn’t Seem To State An Opinion.

Of Course Being A Teenager I Decided To Listen To Myself And I Went Out And Got My First Tattoo. I Came Home And I Showed It To My Mom And She Thought It Was Amazing Art And My Father Was The One Who Got Angry. Go Figure.

Anyhow, Art And Tattoos Have Always Been My Passion Since I Was Young. I Took My Career Path A Bit Differently And Ended Up Becoming A Proud Cement Finisher In The City Of Chicago For 35 Years. I Would Build All The High Rises And Buildings Down Town. Though This Was An Excellent Experience And I Truly Love The Work I Was Doing, It Was Time To Start Something New.

It Was Time To Go Back To My Passion And My Desire To Draw. Since My Family Was Taken Care Of I Decided To Start My Own Tattooing Company, Wicked Image Tattoos. This Company Was Built On The Foundation Of Family And The Motivation Has Always Been To Share My Work With The World. My Wife, Son And I Were Debating Names For A While When Finally My Son Blurted Out “Wicked Image Tattoos!” Twenty Years Later And We Are Still Going Strong.

Working Construction Took A Toll On My Body Early On And For Years I Kept On Pushing Myself. Through 15 Knee Surgeries, 3 Blown Disc’s In My Lower Back And Cervical Surgeries I Decided I Had To Focus More On My Passion And Let Go Of The Construction A Bit.
